Families love the well-marked trails and the stunning overlook of Duluth and Lake Superior—plan on an hour or two for hiking, medium difficulty. Keep in mind that seeing actual birds depends heavily on timing migration season right, as several visitors who came in summer saw great views but no birds; friendly staff/volunteers were a nice bonus for those who caught them. One reviewer noted trails can get quite wet after rain, so check conditions and pack accordingly.
