What families say

Families consistently rave about the self-paced cave tour (about 45 minutes) with guides stationed throughout to answer questions, and the black light/UV add-on ($10-12) is a huge hit with kids for making cave formations glow. Keep in mind it's a constant 50°F and drippy, the path is uneven with stairs and a few tight, low spots that could bother anyone claustrophobic, and tours run on a schedule so some waiting is possible (no need to book tickets ahead, though). Outside the cave there are gardens, picnic tables, clean restrooms, and a walking path to enjoy while you wait.
