Families consistently rave about this hands-on gator farm, where knowledgeable guides let kids (and adults) touch and hold gators, turtles, snakes, and lizards up close—reviewers with kids as young as 5 said even shy children were encouraged to participate. Plan for about 2 hours, and note it's a bit off the beaten path from New Orleans or Baton Rouge, but at $18 a ticket it's considered a great value; one reviewer also mentioned a wheelchair user got around the grounds without much trouble.
