What families say

Families like Mt. Blue for its clean, spacious campground, easy lake access with a grass beach, and a good-sized playground, plus a scenic (and partly handicapped-accessible) overlook at Height of Land that's especially nice in fall. It suits a range of ages, from young kids to teens, and works well for both day trips and overnight camping, though the lake can be too cold for swimming in late spring and firewood sold on-site has been reported as damp and hard to burn.
