Bighorn Canyon is a sprawling park worth a half-day to a full day (or more if you camp), with scenic overlooks like Devils Canyon and Sullivans Knob, easy interpretive trails, and a good chance of spotting wild horses along with old homestead ruins and tipi rings to explore. Kids interested in rocks, history, or wildlife will find plenty to do, and boating, paddleboarding, or kayaking at the marina adds an active option if the water's calm—though wind can cut outdoor plans short. Since attractions are spread over many miles, plan your driving route ahead of time, and stop by the visitor center first for orientation and a small gift shop.
