Families with kids of all ages tend to enjoy the goat interactions and camel rides, and regular visitors praise the knowledgeable, friendly staff. A few reviewers noted that some enclosures have very few animals, so expectations should be set accordingly, and it's worth planning for a full loop of walking (bring water in summer). If you're considering Zoo Lights, be aware that crowds can get very heavy, with at least one visitor describing it as overcrowded and stressful—regular daytime visits seem to be the more relaxed option for a homeschool trip.
