This museum is best suited to younger kids, roughly toddler through age 8-9 — several reviewers noted older kids (10+) may find it a bit light on exhibits compared to something like the Boston Children's Museum. The water room is the standout favorite across almost every review (aprons provided!), along with the light exhibit, lobster boat/firetruck play area, and an interactive theater show. Families can easily spend hours there across multiple floors, and if you're within an hour's drive, a couple of reviewers say a membership pays for itself quickly.
