Staff knowledge and enthusiasm get consistent praise, though one recent visitor felt the experience has slipped, noting the general store no longer sells candy/gift items and some staff seemed less engaged or in costume than before. Plan for a warm-weather visit with some outdoor walking, and note that the drive-through Christmas lights event is a separate, popular option some families do instead of the daytime farm tour.
