What families say

Families can drive the whole battlefield with numerous scenic pull-outs and informational signs, plus hiking trails (Ravine, Reno-Benteen) for those wanting to get out of the car—plan for several hours, as some visitors spent close to four. The self-guided audio/QR tour has drawn complaints for poor sound quality and English-only content, so kids may get more out of reading the signs and headstones scattered across the battlefield than relying on audio. Note the visitor center is currently a temporary trailer due to construction, and don't skip the trading post on the way out for an Indian Taco.
