What families say
Fernbank's dinosaur exhibits are a huge hit with kids, and the giant-screen movie included with admission is a nice bonus (though double-check which film you're walking into). Reviews are mixed on depth: some found it a rich, well-organized journey through natural history, while others felt many exhibits are more play-based/interactive than academic, making for a shorter visit (around 1-1.5 hours) that's better suited for younger kids than for parents expecting dense content. Note that exhibits and outdoor trails can be under construction at times, and weekend mornings get crowded, so an early weekday visit is your best bet.
