Families consistently praise Quechee for its clean, well-kept grounds, friendly staff, and the paved Quechee Gorge Trail—a scenic, manageable hike to a swimming spot that's called fun for all ages (though water shoes are recommended for the sharp rocks). Cabin camping got high marks for being spacious and updated, though a couple of visitors noted issues with bunk beds in some cabins. Plan for a half-mile walk to the gorge itself, and be aware that bridge construction has caused traffic backups near the entrance.
